PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
I have the incredible opportunity each week to study God's Word and deliver what He has revealed through my study. One
of my passions is helping to identify gifts within the body and encouraging those to use them to build up the Church. I am
blessed to have people in our congregation who are so willing to serve that it makes my task of overseer a joy. My desire
is to see our body grow in spiritual maturity, sanctification and devotion to Christ that each may be found to be complete at
the coming of the Lord!
MINISTRY EXPERIENCE
Bishop Creek Community Church - Bishop, California February 2008 - Present
(An Evangelical Free Church)
Lead pastor providing spiritual leadership and direction to small church in rural setting
Preaching and Teaching
• Preaching and Teaching in pulpit ministry - focusing on studying, understanding and
communicating God's Word to His people on a weekly basis.
• Facilitate Woven-In midweek shepherding group based on sermon application.
• Creekside Sermons - A bi-weekly radio broadcast of our sermons.
• Pulpit supply to numerous churches in the community.
Leadership and Community Engagement
• Bishop Ministerial Association- serve in and lead a gathering of the local church ministers in an
effort to collectively support the spiritual and social needs of the community.
• By The Creek - author weekly column in the local newspaper’s religion section.
• Develop men’s breakfast “community” Bible study.
• Pastor’s Round Table - work with other pastors in the community to produce local radio show
addressing social issues and biblical passages.
• Chair elder meetings addressing the spiritual, financial, and administrative issues of the church.
Discipleship and Pastoral Care
• Disciple-making - I have the privilege of leading fellow disciples of Christ in their journeys
of relationship with Christ.
• Biblically counselling individuals and families.
• Mentoring Christian leaders in and around the community.
• Minister to congregants through hospital/home visits, prayer, phone calls, marriages and funerals.

• Ministry outreaches to Mexico, visiting orphanages, food distribution, construction labor, translation, and
Vacation Bible Schools (1977-1985).
