2. About Our Company
You need an organization you can trust to build and manage an infrastructure that will keep you current, efficient, scalable, compliant, and
above all keep your network safe. At Fairdinkum Consulting LLC we are your Managed Service Provider Plus (MSP+).
Fairdinkum is not your typical managed services firm. Our name comes from an Australian phrase meaning “honest” and “genuine”, and we
take that to heart. Our philosophy is to listen to your business problems and work with you to customize IT solutions and managed services
that will solve your problems – not your competitors or your neighbors. We are as far from cookie cutter as you can get, all while still
staying within your budget and offering flexible service contracts.
We believe in our service, giving each client a dedicated, senior-level, direct point of contact. All of our engineers hold high level degrees in
Computer Science or Management Information Systems. Professional certifications among our staff include CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, MCSE,
MCITP, A+ and Network+. Other certifications include, Citrix, and Sonicwall and we are authorized partners of HP/Compaq, Dell, and
Microsoft, as well as various other hardware and software vendors.
As an MSP+, our core services are focused on Support, integration, Network Security, Cloud Migrations, Disaster/Recovery, Business
Continuity Planning, Systems Design. We are a full service firm and work with enormously complex projects that involve business-critical
data and applications down to more routine issues such as PC setups, internet and phones.

The most powerful component is a community of informed and compliant employees with knowledgeable leadership.
Training employees to avoid risky behaviors is the first step.
There are other practical steps to improve email security.
You can implement an email archiving solution that recognizes email consistent with your corporate culture, regulatory requirements and industry.
You can specify policies and controls regarding what’s stored on user desktops and laptops, so you protect important data.
You can empower the enforcement of those policies by providing tools to do so.
Rules generally include opening only specific types of attachments, limiting the size of attachments, and placing limits on the type of sites employees visit using company computers.
You can be sure key departments understand the policies; require them to sign off on your email filtering, retention, retrieval and analysis policies.
You can encrypt email to prevent unauthorized individuals from intercepting messages.
That alone reduces the potential for data loss. (Of course, MSPs work with companies to integrate other steps as needed to meet specific company needs.)
You can stay attuned to evolving threats and solutions.
It better prepares you to identify problem areas and take necessary steps to guard against them.
If don’t have time to monitor these threats, lean on an MSP.
You can educate your staff.
Teach them how to prevent the spread of viruses and worms via email attachments and phishing scams.
Make sure all employees are educated against opening spam or emails from unknown senders.
