  2. 2. Stop COVID-19 Hanging Around • This campaign was launched on the 5th November 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic. This was launched to help demonstrate how important it was to some simple ventilation techniques to help reduce the risk of catching Covid-19 during the winter. This is because during the winter, you are most likely to have family gatherings indoors rather than outdoors but at this time, covid was an important factor to try can keep it under control as well as reducing the risk of covid spreading faster.
  3. 3. Your next poo could save your life • This campaign was launched over the summer of 2022 to encourage people to do their free bowel cancer screening test. This campaign aims to increase the uptake of bowel cancer screening and it focuses on those who will most likely not do a test: men, people sent the bowel cancer screening kit for the first time, people in deprived areas, people from some ethnic and faith communities, and people with a learning disability.
  4. 4. Monkeypox • In the UK there are a number of cases of a rare infectious disease called Monkeypox. It is a viral infection that it usually associated with the travel to West Africa. This can be spread by being in close contact with someone that has monkeypox however it is usually a mild self-limiting illness and most people recover within a few weeks. The symptoms include unusual rashes or lesions on the body such as the face or genital area, fever, muscle aches, shills and exhaustion, headaches, swollen lymph nodes.

Better Health Start for Life Breastfeeding This campaign offers a suite of digital and hard copy tools that will help mums and new parents through their first few weeks of breastfeeding and beyond. Breastfeeding provides the nutrition that a baby needs for the first 6 months as well as create a strong, emotional bond between a mother and her baby. It also helps boost a baby’s ability to fight illness and infection by passing on the mothers immune system. If they aren't breastfed, they are most likely to get diarrhoea and respiratory infections. It is common for parents to experience some challenges with breastfeeding which will make the parent want to give up indtead of switching to a formula feed.
  7. 7. Made With Care The Department of Health and Social Care’s recruitment campaign, ‘Made With Care’ was launched in November in 2021 and it ran until March 2022. This campaign was launched to persuade people to have a career in adult social care. It was also created to help the care providers to get the staff they need. It shows all of the amazing work that the care workers do, show how they empower the people that they care for by celebrating it and gives a spotlight on the rewards of this important role. The campaign addresses perceived barriers to entering the care sector, encouraging job seekers to consider a career in the field. The important messages in this campaign emphasizes: • Personal qualities over qualifications • The opportunities there are for training that can develop your career in adult social care • Flexible working
