                                                                                  In the Fall of 1983, the Pinecone Circus came to town. The Flaming
                                                                                  Hoopsters was the big attraction that year and people came from
                                                                                  miles around to see the lion tamers perform their stunts. No one
                                                                                  expected the big top to burst into flames. As the circus spectators ran
                                                                                  for the exits, the clowns tried their best to put out the fire with their
                                                                                  pails of water leaving some clowns scarred forever. Some say they
                                                                                  still haunt the Pinecone Circus. Ages: Recommended for ages 10 and

Saturday, August 21 9 - 11 a.m. Rob Fleming Aquatic Center parking lot Circus Clown Catastrophe featuring: the Tunnel of terror! In the Fall of 1983, the Pinecone Circus came to town. The Flaming Hoopsters was the big attraction that year and people came from miles around to see the lion tamers perform their stunts. No one expected the big top to burst into flames. As the circus spectators ran for the exits, the clowns tried their best to put out the fire with their pails of water leaving some clowns scarred forever. Some say they still haunt the Pinecone Circus. Ages: Recommended for ages 10 and older. FEE: $8/person, $1 off per canned food item (max $3 discount) October 16, 22, 23, 29, 30 8 - 10:30 p.m.* Rec Center *Last tickets sold at 10 p.m. Concert in the Park Fall Series Mummy Masquerade All concerts held at beautiful Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands. Get “wrapped” up in all our games, dancing Sunday, Oct. 3 Akina Adderly (Soul) and music and don’t forget to get dressed up for the Sunday, Oct. 10 Swing Thing (Country Swing) annual costume contest!
