As a Senior Vice President in Merchandising and Supply Chain for Target I
was fortunate to work closely with Karl for over two years. During that time

easy to follow terms. Karl works hard to understand the needs of each area
of the business: Merchandising, Distribution, Finance … and ultimately the

executives at every level. He then develops a strategy that delivers on key
objectives. Because Karl works hard to understand the business he is able
to develop creative solutions to problems. He is effective dealing with every
