Responsibility: Preparation of manufacturing requirements
Main tasks:
 Formulate and co-ordinate a manufacturing requirement plan based on customer’s
firm and tentative requirements by evaluating all factors involved.
 Analyses firm customer requirements and produce a workable plan for his product.
 Ensure that all relevant documents are retained.
 Complete all reports correctly and efficiently.
 Regular communication with UK planning, to ensure knowledge of any potential
change(s), to maximize time to react to such change(s). To ensure that change is
necessary, especially within manufacturing lead-time, or inside planning time fences.
Ensure that, customer should be first poll-of-call when schedule changes are received.
 Change to manufacturing requirement should only be made where change cannot
be accommodated by use of policy stock, or higher spec harness.

 Continuously provide relevant information to superiors and peers in an accurate and
understandable manner.
 Analysis of customer schedules reconciliation and production of a schedule for the
logistics department.
 Regular communication with logistics department to include prioritizing within a

to attention of the customer.
