Responsibility: Preparation of manufacturing requirements
Main tasks:
Formulate and co-ordinate a manufacturing requirement plan based on customer’s
firm and tentative requirements by evaluating all factors involved.
Analyses firm customer requirements and produce a workable plan for his product.
Ensure that all relevant documents are retained.
Complete all reports correctly and efficiently.
Regular communication with UK planning, to ensure knowledge of any potential
change(s), to maximize time to react to such change(s). To ensure that change is
necessary, especially within manufacturing lead-time, or inside planning time fences.
Ensure that, customer should be first poll-of-call when schedule changes are received.
Change to manufacturing requirement should only be made where change cannot
be accommodated by use of policy stock, or higher spec harness.
Attend relevant meetings regularly.
Continuously provide relevant information to superiors and peers in an accurate and
understandable manner.
Analysis of customer schedules reconciliation and production of a schedule for the
logistics department.
Regular communication with logistics department to include prioritizing within a
weekly plan for delivery to UK warehouse and detailed information regarding any
schedule changes.
Ensure that, additional freight cost due to customer schedule change to be bought
to attention of the customer.

Deploy spider/risk management and maneuver strategies through production
