● I don't think there's a specific term in my native
language, Urdu. It's words that are very stigmatizing
and negatively connotated.

for you personally. Taking regular
inventory of where you're at
emotionally/physically.
● When I'm having a hard time
mentally, expressing it to my child
so he feels open about his own
feelings and mental health.
● collecting my thoughts and then
getting the straight to talk to my
friends
● support groups
● Therapy
● a single or double session for
personal work
● reaching in by checking in with
myself, reaching out for help
whenever I need
● Contact with my mental health
peers
● talking to family and friends
● Reaching out for help and talk
with peers or family
● having done my own therapy
work and "tune ups" on
occasion. Also, practice what I
teach in therapy.
