2. My Radio drama is an adaptation from aVideogame series called metal Gear Solid.The
particular game I am basing it off is the fifth, which involves the key character Venom snake
finding out who he is by the end of the game.This discovery is what the game leads up to
and is a pivotal point in the story.
My adaptation takes place following his discovery, how he reacts and what he goes through
to learn about himself.
The story will followVenom and him questioning the people around him, mainly ocelot,
and the talk they have between each other after the discovery.
The genre for my radio drama would be put into two formats, the first being drama
because of the nature of the drama and action because of what the drama is based off.
3. In terms of a target audience I would be aiming for 16-25 year olds in the socio economic
class E to C1 as the series it s based off is for most people and the attraction from both
older generations and younger because of the timelines that they fit into.
Not much is changed in terms of accuracy to the story, I have kept it relevant so that when
people who have seen the series before listens to my drama they will be able to relate and
understand the plot as it is similar to the original.
4. Venom Snake –The main character of the story who is subjected to a false life and made to
decide who he should be, either by him wanting to be himself or who he was chosen to be.
Revolver ocelot –The only man in the story who truly knows what is happening with
Venoms life and the only one who knows what his true identity.
Kazuhira Miller – Kazuhira is a friend of bothVenom and ocelot however not by choice in
case of ocelot. He is not involved with venoms secret identity, he doesn't’t know that
venom isn't the real boss
5. My radio drama will be aired on BBC radio 4, this is because Radio 4 is focused on dramas
as a whole and people will know where to go for said drama because of radio 4’s relation to
the dramas.
The show itself will be aired in 10, 15 minute parts as the design of the game is based
around long scenes, each part will consist of 3 scenes.
