April Wiggs McGhee I agree that a team approach can make lessons more powerful and learning more
engaging. The librarian is wonderful tool for books, media, reference material and great ideas.

Blanca Gaspar de Alba No doubt collaboration is a powerful tool; and in regards to a school setting and a
child's education, even more so. One thing I've learned throughout the years though, everyone on the
team of collaborators must have the same objectives, otherwise, it is fruitless.

Joanna Wiggs Main Do you want feedback on the video or on our take on teaching collaboratively?

Juli Porflit The video is a rough draft and I need feedback to see how to improve it or what is already
good and can stay. Thanks

Joanna Wiggs Main I think its a good video. Some constructive criticism that I might have is (1) the
font on some of the slides is a little bit too small & (2) is there any way for you to give suggestions on
how we can becime better at teaching collaboratively? The demands of the teacher are already so
high, I thinnk some might need some suggestions as to when/how to collaborate with one another??
Hope this helps!!

Rodney Wiggs I like the concept of teacher and librarian. However you might include students in the
collaboration. Also include some of the skill set necessary as in various media found in libraries which
student can use in and outside of the library.

A great video on selling an idea. Effective use of visual and text. The shot of the book shelf with a toe
tagged foot was memorable but one side of the split text had font size that was too small to read. I
missed it 3 times. Could there be a way to direct-link the utube segment because I didnt know it was
coming and didnt have paper and pencil to write it down. I am very interested to see the collaboration
in action but missed the link. There is lots of power in seeing your idea in action. Loved the table
scene suggesting to harness the power of collaboration. Well done, catchy phrases and a vital
relationship that needs to happen in schools.

That is really good. I liked it. Good fading from slide to slide, and the music goes well with the
presentation. Great Job!
