School's just ended, and it's controlled chaos as TEENAGERS
stream out the front entrance. Some wa}k home, others get
picked up, more chat with friends before they head off.
ANGLE oN -- SHERIFF JODY MILLS in her truck, off-duty in
civilian clothes, as she pulls into the pick-up lane. A
GROUP oF KIDS hanging out catches her eye --
The POPULAR CROWD. The girls are pretty, preening in their
cool- clothes, the boys joking and confident. They're
Lalkj ng, texting, and hold uP --
AIEX is at the center of them. But this isn't the troubled
rr.r.w-y we've seen before; AIex is now fresh-faced and
pretty,- an Al1-American teen in her ponytail and LETTERMAN'S
iacxlf, And she's qot a cute bovfriend too, HENRY
(infeclious smile, Ietterman's jacket and baseball cap).
