3. September 23 - SOME/CET Speed Interviewing in DC - time to be announced September 30 - Partner Expo and Member Happy Hour at Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) in Reston! Check the website for details!

4. Communications Team We provide forums for chapter members to share best practices, ask questions and receive valuable information. We create the theme and content for the Capital News, our bi-monthly newsletter and photograph the Capital Chapter events. We are always looking for members, see John if you are interested. Team lead: John Netzel, CFM

5. Community Service Team We develop relationships with organizations in the local area who could benefit from the assistance of the Capital Chapter. We do this through fundraisers, scholarships and special events to raise awareness and get local facility managers more involved in the community. See Kristen if you are interested in joining us! 6. Membership Services Team We grow and retain Chapter membership through active member recruitment and participation in programs. We want to grow the membership to strengthen the chapter and enrich the profession and careers of FM professionals. See Sarah or Erin in you want to work with our team. 7. Education Team We provide a variety of professional development opportunities to Capital Chapter members through:  Programs Team - develops monthly educational programs  Emerging Leaders Team - helps professionals transition into facility management through networking activities and events  Credentials Team - advocates and promotes IFMA credentials  Networks Team - promotes networking opportunities Co-team leads: Judie Cooper, CFM and Alex Neyhart

8. Special Events Team We engage members by creating entertaining networking and celebratory events, such as the annual golf outing and holiday party, while raising funds for the benefit of the chapter. We would love to have you join our team; just see Elizabeth. Team Lead: Elizabeth Naccache

9. Partnership Team We generate sponsorship dollars to make sure the chapter has the resources to present valuable programs, events, education and other important activities for members. We also provide the opportunity for partners to gain valuable exposure for their product or service. We are always happy to welcome new members - see Geoff. Team Lead: Geoff Snavely
