MDF closets, migration of on-premise IT infrastructure to cloud (SDDC), implementing smart firewalls in the labs. IT
infrastructure included servers, end user computing devices, PC’s, mobile devices
o Infrastructure consolidation of two SAP instances in EMEA and NA into one
o J&J lab Modernization – drove a 3-year $300 MM strategic “white sheet” initiative to modernize all J&J research labs
▪ Consulting Program & Portfolio Manager – Technology Lifecycle Management portfolio, J&J (2015 - 2017)
Program to reduce enterprise technical debt as well as improve network access and bandwidth, refresh compute and storage
devices and applications (enterprise and web-based) leveraging SDDC, AWS and VMware ESXi to meet business demands ($48
million budget)
▪ Assisted leadership (VPs, Senior Directors) with portfolio governance processes and provided portfolio status, budget and
resource forecasts, resource plans, visibility of new project requests collected by Demand Intake team through ServiceNow
tickets, and RAG statuses of child projects under the portfolio
▪ Implemented engagement review procedures aligned with established methodology to ensure successful program execution
(daily scrum calls for projects, Kanban board for others, Waterfall-based review for the rest, and portfolio dashboard for the
leadership)
▪ Mentored a team of regional project managers and financial analysts, as well as dotted line reporting of client resources
▪ Developed a financial management template that was formalized by J&J PMO for future use in all programs

o Windows 2003 server remediation including migrating non-EDC sites to the cloud (SDDC in Raritan, NJ), including, end
user computing devices, PC’s, PC Lifecycle Management, and mobile devices
o Application remediation from Windows 2003 servers to cloud infrastructure (SDDC) using TIME principle

Consulting Program Manager - IPC
Joydeep managed Information Protection & Classification (IPC) implementation program. This program ensured that confidential
information during financial portfolio ratings be protected, governed, and audited across all access points and channels. This
included Identity Management, Access Management, Entitlements, and Identity and Access Analytics for insights into identity,
entitlement and access using web technologies.
