U.S. Census Bureau - San Antonio, Texas April 2010-August 2010
Enumerator
Enumerators, also known as census takers, conduct research on behalf of the U.S. Census Bureau.
As an Enumerator, I collected household and demographic information by canvassing my assigned
areas. I then documented the results and submitted the reports to my Area Supervisor.
Conducted on-site interviews with household residents in accordance with the guidelines set
by the U.S. Census Bureau.
Assisted residents, as needed, by providing more information about each interview question.
Met daily with other Enumerators to discuss any challenges or questions that presented in the

The Amee Farm – Pittsfield, Vermont March 2009-September 2009
Farmer/Consultant
The Amee Farm is a working farm and lodge with a focus on education and agritourism. As a
farmer/consultant, I was tasked with designing the layout and planting schedule for a 1 acre
permaculture garden and 25 acres of pasture for rotational grazing & hay production.
Devised a multi-year schedule for sustainable farm production and growth.
Trained a small team of workers to assist with preparing the farm for full production.
Supervised operations in the greenhouse, garden, and pastures.

East Jordan Iron Works is a manufacturer and distributor of manhole covers and gratings for water,
sewer, drainage, telecommunications, and utility networks. As the Shipping & Receiving Clerk, I
processed all inbound and outbound shipments.
Unloaded, verified, and received inbound material.
Selected, consolidated, and prepared outbound material for shipment or delivery.
Conducted weekly cycle counts and organized inventory as needed.
3. Spring Lake Ranch – Cuttingsville, Vermont October 2007-October 2008
House Advisor/Crew Leader
Spring Lake Ranch is a therapeutic community for adults with mental health and substance abuse
disorders. As a House Advisor/Crew Leader I lived and worked alongside residents, leading the wide
variety of tasks necessary to keep the Ranch running through every season of the year. I served as
a mentor to residents in their recovery of esteem, direction, and well-being.
Worked with residents one-on-one and in small groups to complete various projects.
Assessed each individual resident to determine their strengths, interests, and motivations in
order to most effectively provide them with the resources, training, and project goals to

hardware. My role as an estimator was to support the sales team by providing them with job
specific supply requirements.
Researched upcoming projects and prepared material takeoffs per engineering and
municipality specifications.
Prepared customer quotes and converted those quotes to sales orders as needed.
