Professional Bio
I began my career in commercial real estate in 1976 working for Phipps Community
Development Corporation of New York City managing apartment buildings in the Bronx.
In 1981, I joined the sales staff of Nidus Realty Corporation in the Bronx, New York
City, listing properties for lease and sale. During this time, I worked full-time as an Area
Manager in Coop City (A Mitchell-Lama Cooperative in the Bronx with over 15,000
apartments and 60,000 residents) responsible for services provided by in house staff and
outside contractors.
Between 1981 and 1984, I negotiated the sale and leasing of numerous apartments,
apartment buildings and single family homes in the Wakefield/Baychester sections of the
Bronx.
In 1984, I received my real estate Broker’s license and began my business as CJF Realty.
Since 1984, I’ve leased and sold residential and commercial properties of all types,
specializing in apartment buildings, shopping centers and land for development. Also, in
1984, I was appointed by the Governor’s office as a Deputy District Rent Administrator
responsible for the enforcement of rent regulations at a branch office in New York City
and Westchester County. I left New York State service in 1995.
Today, I have a network of a real estate brokers and property owners that supply me with
information on properties for lease and sale throughout the United States and
internationally.
