To Who It May Concern:
It gives me a great deal of pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for the
School City of Hobarts School Resource Officer Corporal Joe Clemmons.
During my tenure as Director of School Safety for the School City of Hobart I have
had the pleasure to work very closely with Corporal Joe Clemmons in our efforts
in continuing to provide for a safe educational environment for all of our staff and
students.
Corporal Clemmons is a very conscientious, hard- working individual whose work
ethic is one of his greatest qualities.
He is very familiar with the School City of Hobarts emergency response plan, its
camera systems, Rem 4ed program, residency investigations, the various schools
traffic concerns/patterns, the pro-active measures that are in place, has been
involved in internal investigations, participated in table top exercises and has
employed school safety best practices.
He presently is certified as a School Safety Specialist and assigned to the Hobart
Middle School.
In the past he has coached football at the middle school and in the process has
developed meaningful relationships with the students.
Corporal Joe Clemmons has also been a presenter at all of the district’s schools on
topics such as street gangs, drugs, our emergency response plan and organized a
SADD (students against destructive decisions) chapter.

2. Corporal Joe Clemmons also has worked closely with our Superintendent and
district administrative team and demonstrated his leadership skills as a member
of this team.
