 Piling and screw piling expert, capable to design and project management any type of screw piling and piling
methods with extensive experience managing past national and international projects for contractors such as
Keller, Menard Bachy, Opway and SFL Piletech
 Jet Grouting and grouting expert, capable to design jet grouting design parameters and extensive experience on
construction management grouting special projects in Europe and Australia for different worldwide international
expert’s contractors such as Keller Group, Menard Bachy, Geovert, Opway and SFL Piletech.
 Previously responsible for managing design and construction projects at SFL Piletech NSW branch on piling
techniques such as: screw Piles, sheet piling, CFA and Bored Piles for foundations and shoring systems (secant,
contiguous and soldier piles walls). Deep knowledge of Sydney piling market.
 Analysing and checking geotechnical parameters and geotechnical models for design assumptions on piling
(including bored, CFA, sheet and screw piles)
 Extensive experience on geotechnical reports analyses for design and construct piling projects such as:

 Tunnel of Terreiro do Paco Subway - Design and Construction Jet Grouting Columns Ø 2000mm with triple fluid &
bored piles using bentonite Ø 1200mm and 1500mm – piles and jet-grouting columns were constructed to treat
the sand layers surrounding the underground tunnel of Terreiro do Paco Subway Station to prevent liquefaction.
Geotechnical monitoring instrumentation were installed inside and outside of the tunnel to control and monitor
potential movements within the tunnel (settlement survey marks, inclinometers, crack measurements and survey
prisms; core drilling samples were removed from the jet-grouting columns to carry UCS tests to check and
confirm jet-grouting columns strength – Lisbon / 2007 – Approx. Value €5,5M (involvement in the tender

Geotechnical monitoring instrumentation were installed inside and outside of the tunnel to control and monitor potential movements within the tunnel (settlement survey marks, inclinometers, crack measurements and survey prisms; core drilling samples were removed from the jet-grouting columns to carry UCS tests to check and confirm jet-grouting columns strength – Lisbon / 2007 – Approx.
