Cashier, Commercial Officer, Stores and Purchase POSITION OBJECTIVE:
1.Responsible for overall financial management activities encompassing treasury, financialcontrol, and provision of reliable and valid financial reports. Furthermore, ensurefinancial accounting systems are developed, implemented, and maintained in accordancewith the company’s financial policies and legal rules.
2.Responsible for costing and analysis of the expenses of the company. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Estimate/ forecast revenue projection based on quantity of cargo to be transported every month.
2.Prepare annual budget for revenues and expenses (direct cost-fuel, maintenance, spare parts, tyre, driver’s salary, and overheads- administrative cost etc.)
3.Conduct costing of fixed and variable cost to determine, extrapolate and judiciously estimate pricing, modeling and strategy.
4.Prepare and submit for approval monthly budget expenditure report (variance of budget vs. actualcost).
5.Examine, monitor and control all payable and receivable transactions during the month.
6.Examine, monitor and determine VAT payable to tax authorities.
7.Ensure preparation and checking of customer ageing report of pending receivables every month.
8.Prepare annual financial statement (Balance sheet and P&L) for management approval for FY Jan- Dec by end of March.
9.Manage, coordinate and supervise annual audit procedures conducted by external auditors.

10.Keep close view on status of cash position (surplus, shortfall) on daily basis and take preventivestep to meet internal customer’s requirement.
11.Review stock report on monthly basis for expenses related to spare parts, importation.
12.Review, verify and approve all JVs for transfer to GLs.
13.Review MIS of client wise payment status report every month (amount collected, payment pending, expected date of collection).
14.Review and check ageing report of pending payment from customers and submit to GeneralManager every week (Saturday).
15.Monitor monthly commercial target vs. actual (tonnage and revenue) with General Manager.
16.Prepare chart of account (COA) of all assets, liabilities, cost and revenue every year.
17.Develop financial policies and procedures in line with statutory requirement.
18.Ensure financial accounting systems are maintained in accordance with the company’s financialpolicies and legal requirements. INTERNAL CROSS WORKING RELATIONS (DEPARTMENTAL):

Vendors, suppliers, banks, external auditors ROLE HOLDER’S PROFILE:
Academic Education:
Minimum Master in commerce/ accounting
Maximum professional qualification in accounting, e.g. Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant etc.
Relevant Experience :
Maximum 10-15 years, out of which 6 -8 years in relevant field.
Technical Knowledge / Skills:
Financial accounting, IFRS, preparation of trial balance and finalization of accounts, handlingannual external audit.
Thorough knowledge of budgetary control and financial performance management.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
Labor laws.
