Provide detailed descriptions from chosen examples that establish…
Setting
The setting of the beginning and majority of the sequence where the woman is
giving Intel about the Spartans, it sounds like they are talking in a safe and secure
headquarters, whilst talking about previous, or current threats from far away
galaxies, the enemy race is known as the covenant.
Mood
The mood of this sequence sounds exciting and mysterious, I think this because a lot
of questions are asked, and during this sequence, there is what seems to be a battle
on going in the back ground.
Game genre
Narrative
Clearly state what production technique(s) you think have
been used to create specific soundtrack elements
A high quality micro phone was clearly used to get
the voice over effects, of the women giving a
short storyline briefing, and of the man asking
questions about the decisions made before the
war.
Sound editing audio, to adjust pitch, depth, bass
and to create other sound effects that must be
created to complete the scene such as crashing
planes.
I think that the game sounds like and action, rpg, shooter.
The Narrative of the sequence tells the story of children who were abducted to be
made into the perfect soldier to rebel against any human rebellions. Shortly after
the projects completion, the earth is attacked by an alien race called the covenant,
the soldiers are now used to fight off the covenant and save humanity from
extinction.
It sounds like it is an action based, rpg shooter
due to all of the action that is going on and it
seems like you take control of one specific soldier
by the way the story line sounds.
The same techniques for this sequence were
mentioned before in other category slots and
other pieces of work, microphones, sound proof
rooms, sound editing software.
