Processing System (NAPS) [back end] and Agency Office Automation (AOA) [front
end] systems.
Lead team effort to replace AOA rating modules (Auto) with integration of SURGE
rating. This saved time and money by reducing the time it takes to do a limited
scope rate change from 8 weeks to 2 weeks. Using the same rating programs for
AOA and NAPS significantly reduced the programming effort.
Rebuilt all applicable state rating modules to give 2001 module year rates to go with first
NGI implementation of SURGE into AOA Auto.
Designed, developed, coded, and unit tested states with Nationwide General Insurance
(NGI) for SURGE integration into AOA.
Resolved all production problems (hotline calls) for states in AOA Auto integrated with
SURGE new rating in well-timed manner minimizing customer impact.
