PROFILE:
 Birthday: February 11, 1992
 I lived in Georgetown, Texas for my entire childhood. I moved to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in
2010.
 Despite my desire to obtain a college education, I was also interested in earning a commercial
driver's license.
 My goal in the work place is to learn new skills, expand on current skills, and use all skills and
knowledge to the benefit of my employer, my co-workers, and myself.
EDUCATION:
 Georgetown High School – Georgetown, TX – Class of 2010
 Kutztown University of Pennsylvania – August 2010 to August 2014
 Bachelor of Science – Library science, with minor in history.
 Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, partnered with SAGE – Schnecksville, PA – June 24
through August 4, 2015. This school, certified by the Professional Truck Driver Institute, is
where I earned my Class A CDL.
 Commercial Driver's License, Class A – Endorsements for air brakes, HazMat, tanker, and
doubles/triples. Learned on an Eaton Fuller 10-speed manual transmission.
AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE (NON-COMMERCIAL):
• License (non-commercial) first obtained in Texas, in early-2008, at the age of 16.
• Obtained Pennsylvania license in early-2010.
• I learned to drive a manual transmission (synchronized) during summer 2010, and only drove
manual vehicles since then.
• I am a cautious driver, and I have a clean record in the states of Texas and Pennsylvania.
• Despite living in Texas for almost 18 years, I quickly learned how to drive in winter weather
once up north.
• Since 2010, I completed at least 10 solo trips between Bethlehem, PA and Livonia, MI in a
personal vehicle – 560 miles one-way, achieved within 9 to 10 hours (2 such trips involved
severe winter weather).
• I know how to perform basic maintenance, such as checking oil level, air filter, tire air pressure,
windshield wipers & washer fluid, coolant fluid, serpentine belt inspection/replacement, to
name a few things. I never relied on a mechanic to perform such basic tasks. I have also
performed repairs that may not even be required as a commercial driver, but the experience has
taught me a lot about automobiles and how they operate.
• The aforementioned experience with automobiles encouraged me to consider obtaining a CDL.
