This document contains the results of a survey conducted to help decide the content for a new music magazine. The survey found that the target audience is mostly teenagers aged 16-19 and that artists like Arctic Monkeys and Imagine Dragons are popular. Favorite colors include green, purple and red. Most respondents buy a magazine weekly and rate articles and the cover page as most important. The majority are willing to pay £1-2 for a weekly magazine. Kerrang is the most popular existing magazine.

As my primary audience is teenagers, I got mostly teenagers to fill out my
questionnaire and this will help me to decide what to put in the magazine. But as
my secondary audience ranges up to 30, I have also got results off people in that

This question helps me to decide where to put the emphasis in my magazine. For
example there would be no point in including lots of competitions in the magazine
when people aren’t really interested in them. Instead I will put more emphasis on the
articles and the front cover.
