1. Required Counseling, Public Speaking, Tutoring, Coaching and Mentoring
a. start giving tutoring, coaching, and mentoring at 3rd grade.
2. Life Portfolio Creation with all works published on global internet
3. Required nutritional, agricultural (indoor farming), and cooking skills (in central kitchen)
4. RFID Tracking with partially automated Merit‐Demerit System
a. consequentialism (NOT crime and punishment; no alpha male energy allowed)
5. Integrated Campus with YMCA/Boys & Girls Club
a. only for our students on Friday‐Sun; 12:30‐9pm
b. open for ‘members only’ during all other times
General Outline of Earth Citizen School
1) K‐5 is a technology and hands on/case study/project oriented core competencies school
a. with some self‐pacing
2) 6‐8 is a technology and hands on/case study/project oriented pre‐college school
a. with a lot of self‐pacing
3) 9‐12 is a technology and hands on/case study/project oriented pre‐professional technical school
a. must choose a track (pre‐college is an option)
b. must work 20 hours per week at a local externship (starts at age 16)

Target Demographics
• 60% Female, 40% Male (both teachers and students)
• 70% Boarding Students / 30% Local Area Students
• 35% (or 50% of boarding students) are Foster Care, Abused, and Orphaned children.
• Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner is required for all Students; Monday thru Thursday
All meals are served in the 4 assigned theater/auditoriums, by cart
All students must sit in their assigned sections by home room class
There is edutainment and interactive polling for Breakfast & Lunch Service
Dinner Service there are student presentations (two‐11min, or one‐20min)
Meal preferences and requests are done online the week before
Boarding Students have a healthy continental breakfast on Fri‐Sun
Boarding Students can sleep in on Friday‐Sun but must be at lunch service
Boarding Students are served full lunch and dinner on Fri‐Sun
• Boarding Students are required to participate in various Earth Citizen Chores
• Technical High School Students have to work an externship for 20hrs/wk (ages 16+)
• Netbook is required for all students, netbooks cannot leave campus, and all netbooks are hooked
into private wireless LAN with Cloud based software system.
Boarding/Charter School Framework
• K‐12 is divided into 4 interdependent campus/dorm areas (K‐3, 4‐6, 7‐9, 10‐12)
• All grades are hands‐on/case study/project oriented classes
• Technological self‐pacing of core competencies is integrated within the school
1. History: from the perception of the participants at the time
2. Philosophy: from the four dyadic levels of consciousness
3. Psychology: from the impact of environment, epigenome, and genetics
4. Sociology: from the different institutional indoctrinations
5. Science: from a holistic and humanistic paradigm
6. Economics: from the entrepreneurial and legal issues of business

3. • There are four quarters to this year‐round school (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter)
1. Spring: 1st qtr; New Beginnings: Revitalize and Reenergize
a. Mar 2nd – Jun 1st, *two weeks off between semesters
2. Summer: 2nd qtr; Make the Hard Choices: Self‐Discipline & Self‐Leadership
a. Jun 2nd – Sep 1st, *two weeks off between semesters
3. Autumn: 3rd qtr; Finish what you Started: Complete & Achieve
a. Sep 2nd – Dec 1st, Wed before thanksgiving is last day of qtr
b. *the week after thanksgiving is autumn break
4. Winter: 4th qtr; Change is Only Constant: Review & Recollect
a. Dec 2nd – Mar 1st; standardized testing preparation time
b. graduation ceremony qtr with portfolio presentations
c. *winter break is two weeks during christmas and new years
d. *spring break is one week at end of winter qtr
e. there is a graduation ceremony for each grade level, at end of winter quarter
f. there are home room portfolio presentations during winter quarter as well
g. and there is a more elaborate graduation ceremony for 5th, 8th, and 12th graders
• Each of the four dorm areas (K‐3, 4‐6, 7‐9, 10‐12) has a boys wing, and a girls wing; for each grade
1. each grade level has its own floor and communal space
2. each grade level has shared bathroom areas for both the girls wing, and the boys wing.
3. shared bathrooms have very nice privatized stalls for showering and dressing
4. every boarder has their own private bedroom; that only they, and female staff can access.
5. each grade level has a house mom, with two vice moms.
6. each of the four dorm areas has a student council made up of the other dorm students
a. the ‘10‐12’ dorm has a student council made up of college teacher externs
b. there are also professional housing committees that oversee all dorm areas
c. a maximum of 88 students per dorm area (125 students per grade level)
• Teachers must teach four, of the five, 90 minute class periods, Monday thru Thursday
1. friday is a half‐day for teachers, and is for administrative duties and team building
2. teachers must teach periods 1, 3, and 4 (only period 2 or 5 admin period; 2 of 4 day wk)
3. teachers must be there for Lunch on Friday (and teachers have weekends off)
4. teachers have approximately 8 weeks off per year for vacation (see above for schedule)
5. teachers will have a min of 12 students per class, and a max of 22 students per class
6. teachers will have a min of 48 students per quarter, and a max of 88 students per quarter
7. that comes to approximately 8 teachers per grade level, 96 teachers for the school
8. 58 female teachers, and 38 male teachers
• 70% boarding students/30% local area students (60% female students/40% male students)
a. 88 boarding students / 37 local area students per grade level
b. 44 female boarding students, 44 male boarding students, per grade level
c. 31 female local area students, 6 male local area students, per grade level
d. A total of 1500 students for the entire school, with 1050 boarders.
