Lee axon is a digital content creator, who specializes in stunning visuals, marketing, promotion,

out of his comfort zone to create unique digitalized eye popping photography and uses this to
interact with tons of people across the globe wanting everyone to tap into their creative side. Lee
teaches people to express their passion and turn into a passion and using the use of social media
to enhance that dream any means possible.
In this session we learn and was shown mainly Lee’s past work. It was a wide range of content
including some show reels, trailers, music videos, photography, videos and more. Lee asked us as
well to step to the front and tell everyone their favourite movies and our past content we creates.
He asked about why we were studying media as well and led that to his start in media and how he
created a brand called ‘Digi Fin’ and how he became so successful from starting to ‘free videos for
company’s and learning from that.
Lee advised us to interact with local places and offer our services to film a free promotional video
for them to create a connection and build a name for ourselves. Lee axon also mentioned it
doesn’t matter about the camera or quality its about how you use it in the production you are
trying to make. He linked that to him starting with an iPhone and how he made it look
professional saying that ‘ anything can look professional’ Lee does everything for himself being
the editor, producer, director suggesting that you can build a brand and services with just yourself
it doesn’t always need to be 100 man production.
After lee talked about his experiences and past work load lee set us a task to shoot/record a
college promo using our phones under 1 minute seeing the difference and creative ideas between
us all and what we could take away from it. This was harder than imagined for me because I was
in maths so we had trouble with timing and placement but luckily my peer Elliot Daroczy had
some old footage and we shot some more in time for the editing process we all suggested ideas
how it could look and the format of the video. The video wasn’t perfect by any means but we did
good with the setbacks we had with maths and timing. After this everyone’s video’s was shown on
the living staircase projector and lee reviewed each one and said what he liked about each one
and gave some professional but helpful feedback.
This was a helpful insight into the digital media world and was great to hear from someone who
started from nothing and made a professional brand for himself. Overall, the opportunity was
great for me and I learnt a lot about editing and getting myself out there.
