• 1 CONFIRMATION : The classic role of a
program is to verify or confirm a plant’s
performance with various rules.
• 2 IDENTIFICATION :Identification of areas of
weakness .
8. TYPES OF AUDIT
• 1ST PARTY AUDIT : Carried out within the company by
internal auditors to ensure that the company can
maintain and improve the performance and the QMS.
2ND PARTY AUDIT : Carried out by parties having an
interest in the organisation, such as customers on
suppliers or by other persons on their behalf .
3 RD PARTY AUDIT : Carried out by an independent
certification body in order to certify a company that
the system meets the requirements of ISO 9001.
