Slides I use to talk to high school students about cybersecurity issues and careers, referencing Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Caitlyn Jenner, Kim Kardashian and the England Football Team.

At this point I also mention how good TeenVogue is at providing cybersecurity info and advice. People sometimes laugh and I tell them I’m not kidding, it is really good.

Can be used as a discussion point for privacy (of fans) vs security (of TS / celebrity)
One of the most popular infused twitter accounts is a TS ‘parody’ account (or is it a parody? The reason this account is so perfect is that it actually could be her…)
I move on from TS to other examples - this is the first https://i-d.vice.com/en_us/article/ywnd5w/beyonce-has-a-very-beyonce-approach-to-cybersecurity
https://mashable.com/2015/06/01/caitlyn-jenner-protected-exclusive/#Ob8gmXIU_aqc
I mention that this shows cybersecurity is important to pop stars, anyone in the public eye and journalists / magazines / newspapers etc. So whatever you are interested in (fashion, music, films) there will be a cybersecurity teams working in those industries.
From Caitlyn Jenner to the Kardashians and hard lessons they have learned about social media following the attack on Kim Kardashian. https://www.vanityfair.com/style/2017/01/kim-kardashian-paris-robbery-social-media-heist
This includes sports too - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/41230542
So cybersecurity / cyber war is not just of interest to business and government. It’s gone mainstream - here is a Grazia article I wrote on Russia cyber attacks, we have also seen articles in Vogue, TeenVogue, etc.
