Hengtong Marine Cable Systems was established in 2012 by Hengtong Optic-‐Electric Co., Ltd who is public
listed in China. Hengtong Marine now is the largest submarine optic cable manufacturer in China, and also
has an advanced R&D and Test centre. The new Optical Factory completed 2016, with annual capacity is
14,000 km. The company owns a deep water port (375m quay, 12.5m water depth).
