E-8C Communication Navigation Mission Systems Program Manager: Melbourne, FL 3/2009 – 8/2011
Appointed as first JSTARS maintenance SME assigned to Melbourne in 2009. Fulfilled roles in Development and
Operational Test & Evaluation. Facilitated 8.33 ARC-210 Radio demo flights. Assisted with five Beyond Line of
Sight (BLOS) Satellite Communications aircraft modifications and coordinated terminal upgrades allowing 66%
operations cost reduction with software release. Coordinated Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below
(FBCB2) software upgrades, and authored the 116 Air Control Wing’s BLOS and FBCB2 Memorandum of Agreement
establishing maintenance support and responsibilities. Led the $2.6 million dollar Urgent Operational Need (UON),
Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS) program streamlining Operation Enduring
Freedom combat commander’s with direct coalition force communications within 6 months. Directed legacy link
and cryptographic program analysis to ensure compliance with National Security Administration mandates and
facilitated Northrop Grumman’s Communications Security (COMSEC) transfer of $65,000 in assets to end user
accounts.
E-8C Communication Navigation Mission Systems Maintainer: Warner Robins AFB, GA 4/2000 – 3/2009
Sustained flying operations for 17 JSTARS aircraft valued at $6.2 billion dollars. Expertly performed flight line
maintenance on the following systems: Ultra High Frequency, Very High Frequency, High Frequency, and Satellite
Communication radios, Identification Friend or Foe, Global Positioning System, Color Weather Radar, navigational
aids, interphone, Surveillance and Control Data Link, Broadcast Intelligence, and Joint Tactical Information
Distribution System. Analyzed and interpreted layout drawings, schematics, on-board computerized fault
detection systems. Completed technical data verification reviews to ensure accuracy of preliminary Technical
Orders. Tested and evaluated new systems for compliance with program requirements, standards, and cross-
platform functionality. Fulfilled critical roles as: COMSEC Responsible Officer, Quality Assurance Augmentee,
Equipment Custodian, Sortie Support Flight Team Member, Composite Tool Kit Custodian, and performed aircraft
debrief duties while deployed. Worked closely with Northrop Grumman Field Service Representatives and Air

E-3B Communications Command and Control Systems Maintainer: Elmendorf AFB, AK 5/1996-4/2000
Performed communications maintenance, to include operational checks, line replaceable unit removals, installs,
wiring, and component modifications on two AWACS aircraft valued at $540 million dollars. Worked closely with
flying operations personnel to ensure support for short and long-range flying commitments, to include
deployments, exercises, and contingency operations. Deployed on three occasions in support of drug interdiction
efforts at Howard AFB, Panama for 158 days.
