STATEMENT OF NEEDS:

• Venues in London just north
of Hertfordshire.
• Could attract artists from
Hertfordshire.

• Slight competitor.
• Doesn’t mention music.
• Areas in Hertfordshire for music.
• Could mean audience looks to this
magazine for location instead.
FORM AND GENRE:
• Theme – music venues and festivals.
• Who’s playing, where, when and what genre of music.
• 50 pages (mix of photos and text).
• Produced every 4 Mondays.

images
• Text – laid out in columns, information about the artist,
venue or location.

subtitles),”musicalina” (headline), “blacklist” (masthead).
FONT STYLES:
Masthead: Headline:
Page Titles: Text:
MOOD BOARD:

COLOUR SCHEME EXAMPLES:
• Overall colour scheme:
• Others colours added to match music theme e.g. red and
black if I’m talking about an artist performing rock music.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Primary Audience – men and women aged 17-32
