0000 Actions Displays Action Type, Action Reason, Current Employment Status, Personnel Area,
Employee Group, Employee Subgroup, and history of actions.
0001 Organizational
Assignment
Displays Company Code, Personnel Area, Personnel Area, Personnel Subarea, Cost
Center, Employee Group, Employee Subgroup, Payroll Area, Job Key
(Classification Code), and Organizational Unit (Assigned Org Code).
0002 Personal Data Displays complete name information (Last Name, First Name, Middle Name,
Known As, Second Title), Social Security Number, Birth Date, Language,
Nationality (Citizenship), Marital Status, Gender, and 3rd
Nationality if Nationality
does not equal US (SSN Country).
0006 Addresses Displays complete mailing address information and telephone number.
0008 Basic Pay Displays complete base salary information, including Wage Type (either hourly or

Function Definition Process
Create Make a new infotype record and enter new data. F6 or Create icon, Enter new data, F11 or Save icon
Correct Erase a mistake, leaving no history. F7 or List icon, Select record, F5 or Change icon, Enter correct data, F11 or
Save icon
Update Make a new record incorporating new information
and maintaining history of prior record(s)

Cancel Leave a record without saving changes made, and
record remains unchanged.

Glossary
Term Definition
Delimit Record When you create or delete an Infotype record, SAP end dates the previous Infotype record (either 12/31/9999 or one
day prior to the new effective date).
Retroactive Calculation When you create, correct, update, cancel, or delete certain data after payroll has been processed, SAP automatically
recalculates gross to net payroll amounts for the affected prior period.
Reversal Action For any HRIS Action or update that the Daily HRIS Interface cannot update SAP, manual data entry in SAP is
required to reflect the HRIS data and update payroll/tax information as required. This would apply to any Hire,
Term, Rehire, or Transfers onto US Payroll that are changed in HRIS, as well as any Payroll-related data changed in
HRIS that is not the most current record.
