e Time Factory e Calendar Company was established in 1996 and is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. ey are one of the largest
calendar publishers in the world, and their products are widely distributed throughout the nation. e company is partners with
many well known photographers, artists, and licensors. ey are one of the largest publishers of NASCAR stationery and calendars.
During my internship at e Time Factory I worked in the art department designing calendars for the 2009 product line. e
following are examples of the work that I completed while at e Time Factory.

3. WWII Quote Book
Experimental Bookmaking
is book I hand craed with leather and matte board. Quotes
from soldiers and survivors of WWII are heard throughout this
book. ese are some of the pages found in the book.

4. Baseball Book
Experimental Bookmaking
For this project I was to design an accordion fold book and the content was up to us to
decide. I chose to design a baseball book that would showcase my father’s baseball cards
of some of the greatest to ever play the game. ere are twelve panels that display a
dierent baseball card along with imagery and an interesting fact that relates to that
particular player. To bring each panel together I used the poem “Baseball Is”, by Greg
Hall, and it reads throughout the panels from top to bottom. Finally, to bind each
panel of the book together and give it a vintage look, I used the leather covers o of
real baseballs. When hanging up, the book is approximately 8 tall.

'Social!' is a playable board game that I
conceptualized and designed in its entirety. e
target audience is the college age adult and older.

functioned as a source for updated information on the nightlife,
restaurants, and music scene in the Broad Ripple area of Indianapolis.

e requirements of this project was to reproduce a self prortrait of the hands and feet. I chose the act of clipping one’s toenails
becaus it is something we normally don’t do in front of other people. By hanging this on the wall it is there for everyone to see.
