The Risk Information Strategy for the Enterprise (RISE) is a multi-year program launched by
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to conduct current state assessment, develop and implement
a future state vision and high-level strategic roadmap for TD’s risk information. The RISE

Whiting Timesheet Reporting is an application used for end users to generate adhoc reports
based on the database for reporting time of an employee/contractor .Employees while entering
and exiting the BP site swipes their smart cards (ID badges) against the access control and the
information is stored in the WTR Reporting database (WHITSRPRD01).Whiting Timesheet
Report is the site access control, alarm monitoring and ID badge system for security
management installed at the Refinery. It manages all badges in, badges out events and feeds the
database.

♦ These adhoc reports are intended for TRACK and Non-Track vendors apart from BP

Project Description:
The SAP Business Objects is a reporting tool is being used across all the division of Telenor
Norge for viewing & analyzes the data in report form. Telenor Norge has divisions called
Business, Consumer, Distribution, operation, Finance, Wholesale, SIT.
Four servers (2 for prod, dev and test) servers are being used for developments, testing and for
the user. For better performance the tomcat server hosts the web applications/portals is installed
on another H/W platform not on the BO production server. Production platform is having 4 CPU.
There is a dedicated production server for Siebel sales purpose since sales platform require data
in real time mechanism.
Salient Features
• A very big account for TCS with around 200 + associates
• Integration of more than 50 different source systems into a single Tool
• Currently there are approximately 2000 users are defined in SAP Business Objects
application, and around 1500 are active users. And 2000 + public or shared reports and
8000 private reports exist in SAP Business Objects application
• Dependency / criticality of application are very high as so many users’ uses the BO
reports / Xcelsius dashboards to analyze the sales / Business data.
• The availability of all the environments is very critical as 10000 + users will be affected.
• Versatile ETL and Data Model Design to include any source system.
Contribution:
As a Administrator/developer, was responsible for
• To resolve critical incidents raised by client on critical issues SAP Business Objects
For maintenance of servers (Dev/Test/PROD1/PROD2) of SAP Business Objects.
• To maintain performance of the servers of BO
• To delete /remove users as per the security compliance.
• To disable users who are inactive from a particular period of time on monthly basis
• To work on change requests on existing universes and reports for all the report
scheduling a maintenance.
• Migration of Universes, Reports, Securities from the Development to
TEST/Production environments after System Integration Testing(SIT) and then
followed by Business Acceptance Testing(BAT). Using Import Wizard for the
Migration process across the environments.
• Administer and supervise the BO environment by monitoring/granting permissions
and rights to vast users, creating and publishing reports and implement Folder
and object level restrictions.
• Importing the groups and users from windows Active Directory into SAP
Business Objects and granting the users and groups with appropriate rights through
Central Management Console.

  • 10. The SAP Business Objects is a reporting tool is being used across all the division of Telenor Norge for viewing & analyzes the data in report form. Telenor Norge has divisions called Business, Consumer, Distribution, operation, Finance, Wholesale, SIT. Four servers (2 for prod, dev and test) servers are being used for developments, testing and for the user. For better performance the tomcat server hosts the web applications/portals is installed on another H/W platform not on the BO production server. Production platform is having 4 CPU.
