Some broker websites that provide with featured pages for their agents have the same navigation across the entire site, this allow your potential customer to wander off to other parts of the site and end up at your coworker feature page. But in my opinion the biggest downside of having a dedicated page through your broker website is that all your marketing efforts and money you spend to drive traffic to your dedicated page will only benefit your broker site because the traffic is going to the main site overall. The other option is the do it yourself website services such as wix.com and Vistaprint. These services are what they call what you see is what you get, basically the companies setup generic templates that are customizable by their clients to fit their need. Some of the downside of these types of website is that the one size fit all concept may not be suitable for your business, it can affect your credibility and since the monthly payments usually is higher than the monthly payment of renting hosting it will be more expensive to maintain overtime. The other alternative is to hire a professional web developer. With a professional you will definitely have a website that is business and industry oriented, the designer will know how to design a website that will increase the credibility of your realtor services, the cost of having a website done by a professional will be high upfront but the cost of the site will be lower over time. You should consider this option if you are planning to have a long career in the real estate industry.
