The Board of Matthew Flinders Anglican College is seeking a new Principal to begin in January 2017. The college is a non-selective, co-educational school located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland with over 1,300 students from early learning to year 12. It places great emphasis on developing students academically, physically, and spiritually. The new Principal will provide inspiring strategic vision and leadership to staff, students, and the community, with a focus on pedagogical innovation and technology integration. They must be a communicant member of the Anglican Church in Australia.

1. The Board of Matthew Flinders Anglican College seeks to appoint a new
Principal from January 2017.
Established in 1990, and located on the Sunshine Coast in Buderim, the
College is an outstanding independent co-educational Anglican school which
has gained an excellent reputation for academic performance and individual
achievement. The broadly-based holistic education is underpinned by Christian
values. Non-selective, it is a thriving, vibrant College with over 1,300 students from
Early Learning to Year 12.
The College places great emphasis on developing the whole person,
academically, physically and spiritually, as well as nurturing a strong sense of
community. Co-curricular programs in the arts, sport, and outdoor education are
of an exceptional standard.
Building on strong foundations, the new Principal will have the personal qualities
and professional experience to offer inspiring and strategic educational vision
and leadership of staff, students and the wider College community. Key areas
of focus will be furthering pedagogical innovation and the effective integration of
technology. She or he will be a communicant member of the Anglican Church in
Australia or a church in communion with it.
