Mortgage Finance unit of GMAC Financial Services. Delivered network, help desk, and telecom services for all Continental
European locations. Provided coverage to 400 staff and contractors, across locations in Germany, UK, the Netherlands, and
Spain. Administered €5.6M in direct annual budgets.
In preparation for the company’s “Pan-European Mortgage-backed Security”, aggregated mortgage data from Dutch,
German, and Spanish businesses, including daily feeds from nine servicers, into a single data warehouse.
Reduced daily processing times 80% through process reengineering, tool replacement, and hardware optimization.
Lowered data errors by 50% and processing incidents by 90% by implementing business rules and validations.
Maintained service levels during this crisis environment despite decreasing staff and budgets.

As COO/CIO for Germany, established GMAC-RFC Bank, GmbH, a regulated banking entity, via the acquisition and
integration of a German regional bank. Managed multi-billion Euro mortgage and lending operations for start-up mortgage
banking business with bricks-and-mortar and internet-based acquisition channels. Developed and implemented operating
strategies for mortgage brokering, lending, and securitization activities.
Processed more than €3B of mortgages in less than two years.
Processed the issuance of GMAC’s first-ever Mortgage-backed Security (MBS) in Germany.
Planned and led development and deployment of state-of-the-art mortgage processing platform.
