Lead Turnaround Collaborator /Transformation Coordinator
Responsible for the oversight of a Lead Turnaround initiative with two districts in the Commonwealth of
Virginia. This model includes an emphasis on monitoring and assessing the services provided by external
vendors to schoolwho are at Priority level in the accountability model.
Provide guidance and direction with schooltransformation practices.
Respond to schooland division requests for support.
Support the foundation Executive Director in an array of practices designed to enhance the school
transformation process.
In collaboration with the Virginia Department of Education Office of School Improvement,
provide technical assistance to schoolteams on instructional pedagogy,planning alignment, and

II. Virginia Department of Education – Office of School Improvement June 2008-
Present
In partnership with the Virginia Department of Education, have provided ongoing support and professional
development for schoolleaders and teams in the area of schoolimprovement. This collaboration began in
2009 and continues currently.
2. Professional Development Consultant
2009-20012 participated on a team of professionaldevelopment consultants to deliver rigorous
leadership and instructional training to schoolidentified as high risk for failure. Forums included
onsite as well web based environments.
One of a team of four educators tasked with planning, developing, and implementing the 2014-15
Technical Assistance as required by the VDOE OSI for all Priority Schools.
Plan a comprehensive professional learning experience for principals and district staff: Alignment
of Academic Review and Performance Evaluation (AARPE).
Conduct research of best practices.
Establish protocols for inter-rater reliability to improve the feedback of teacher performance.
Implement a Mentor Coaching Model for school leaders designed to support principals in their
work toward overall increased student achievement and school improvement.

Responsible for the oversight and coordination of Cohort 2 of the NISL EDP in the Commonwealth of
