2. Existing Product
The way that this product is similar to my
product is because of what is being shown
to the reader as it shows a game the
magazine will be covering on the front cover
meaning that anyone who enjoys that game
may want to buy to find out how good the
game is and is it worth buying.
Another way this product is similar to my
product is through the use of big bold fonts
for its text and are either in red box with
white text or white on its own meaning they
are easy to pick out and read and don’t just
blend into the magazine image. This will
mean that anyone that go's past will be
drawn to the magazine as big bold fronted
text usually attract large numbers of readers
and after the text has the reader on the
hock the smaller text dose the rest in
convincing the reader to buy it out of
interest for what else is in the magazine.
3. Existing Product
the following product is similar to mine is in the way it is presented as on one side of the double
page it’s talking about a game whilst on the other side it is advertising a product for gaming. The
appeal for the audience is by the way it is presented as gamers are looking for products to
improve there gaming experience but if that isn’t the interest then the reader will be attracted
by the game that is being talked about meaning either way one or both page convince the
audience into buying the product.
4. Existing Product
One way the existing product is similar to my own is
with the flashy slogans on the front page that relate to
a game being talked about with in the magazine.
This can attract readers as most advertisements for
product use flashy slogans like “PS4 for the players”
that has a relation to the product meaning it convinces
people into buying that product.
Another way the product is similar to my own is by
having characters from different games on the front
cover. This attracts readers as fans of these characters
will be drawn in to see what the magazine has to do
with some of their favourite characters.

– They have a character or game cover at the front of the magazine.
– They have big bold text used for the magazine title and subjects being covered
in the magazine.
– Most of the products use either dark colours or light colours for some pages
background and the front cover.
• What aspects of the research will you include within your on work?
– One aspect I will include in my final product is by having a main character of a
game or something related to a game on the front cover.
– Another aspect I will include in my final product is for the two page spread for
on page ill have the magazine discuses about an upcoming game whilst on the
other side ill have that page discus about an upcoming review of a game done
by a youtuber.
– A final aspect I will include in my final product is that of a flashy slogan on the
front cover if a can depending on what game ii have on the front cover
