2. Facts about Nyhamna Expansion Project:
The purpose of the Nyhamna Expansion Project is that
the Nyhamna plant should be able to receive gas from
other fields on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. In
addition, first phase of compression of the Ormen
Lange field will be executed by installing dual
compressors on the Nyhamna plant.
The Nyhamna plant was originally built with a
processing capacity of 70 million standard cubic meters
of gas per day. After Nyhamna Expansion Project, the
capacity of the plant will be 84 million standard cubic
meters and thereby correspond to the dimensioned
volumes of the Langeled pipeline.
