4. The Halo website describes the new Halo 4 as being a ‘new
trilogy’ saying:
“Halo 4 is the next blockbuster instalment in the iconic
franchise that’s shaped entertainment history and defined a
decade of gaming.
Set in the aftermath of Halo 3, Master Chief returns to
confront his own destiny and face an ancient evil that
threatens the fate of the entire universe.
Halo 4 marks the start of a new trilogy that begins with its
release in 2012.” Halo website
Halo 4 will be released on the 6th of November 2012 so get ready!
5. The Halo 4 Limited Edition will be worthwhile investing in.
According to Slashgear.com, although there will be similar features, there are
some added extras that comes in the Limited Edition that will add significant
power to the game you play:
“The Limited Edition of this game will have the same options for gameplay that
the standard edition does, but will be including several more single-player
maps for you to interact with.
At $99.99 upon its release, we’re certainly hoping it’s more than just maps that
we’ll be getting – that and some physical items such as a USNC Briefing
Packet, some armour schematics, and a bluetooth of the Infinity. UPDATE:
Also included in the Limited Edition pack will be such lovely bits and pieces
like armour and weapon skins, Avatar unlockables, and a 90-minute video
feature Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.
This feature will have you gaining an understanding of the storyline like only a
hard-core character would want!” Slashgear.com
6. According to the Plusnet Community Blog, Halo 4 has been a massive
success and after racking in millions in sales, the impending release of Halo
4 is bound to make just as much of an impact as Halo 3:
“Set 4 years after Halo 3, the latest instalment continues the story of
Master Chief as he not only ‘faces an ancient evil that threatens the fate of
the entire universe’ but has to ‘confront his own destiny’ too. The game
marks the beginning of a second Halo trilogy, giving fans the exciting
prospect of ten more years of first-player shooter action in the world they
adore.
There is a slight change this time round, however – the previous games in
the Halo series were developed by Bungie, a US software company. The
first, Halo, was developed by Bungie and previewed at the Macworld Expo
1999. Shortly afterwards, Microsoft announced that it had bought the
software company…
7. “Halo was a runaway success, resulting in the development and release
of two further games – Halo 2, which was released in 2004 and Halo 3,
which hit the shelves in 2007. Bungie split from Microsoft in 2007,
however, just before the official release of Halo 3. Halo 4 is therefore
being designed by Microsoft’s in-house games development
department, 343 Industries.”
Halo 4 sounds like it has a lot to compete with given it’s earlier
generations making such a buzz in the gaming world.
No doubt with the launch of their infinity broadband, Plusnet will be
making gaming faster and more exciting for gamers than ever before!
