•Periodization is a form or resistance
training that may be defined as
strategic implementation of specific
training phases.
4. • Training session plan:
• Training session is the basic unit of training process. A training
session plan – also called a learning plan – is an organized
description of the activities and resources you'll use to guide a
group toward a specific learning objective.
• Systems of Planning:
• Several systems of planning are available and in fact a
sportsperson has to follow all the systems so as to ensure
attainment of high performance in a specific sport.
11. A MESOCYCLE refers to a particular
training block within that season; e.g.
the endurance phase.
12. A MICROCYCLE refers to the smallest
unit within a mesocycle; usually a
week of training.
