5. What is a Product Owner?
● Responsible for maximizing the
value of the product and the
work of the development team
● Sole person accountable for
Product Backlog management
(define, prioritize, and make
visible)

8. Activity 1: Herculean Donut
The board currently contains two pages: a drawing of a
donut subdivided into spaces for various roles, and a
page filled with stickies that represent a responsibility in
Scrum.
The participants will choose a sticky note from board,
and decide which role is responsible for it in the Scrum
Framework. The sticky will be placed in one of: Product
Owner, Scrum Master, Dev Team, Everyone or No One.
Participants will then discuss if this is the appropriate
location based on the framework.
9. Activity 2: Team Lego Challenge
● The Product Owner (PO) will
decide which model should be
built.
● PO will have the instructions and
photo but will not show them to
the Team.
● The Dev Team has only the Lego
bricks.
● PO is allowed to inspect the plan
as often he or she needs to.
● The Dev Team has 25 Minutes to
complete the model.
10. Debrief and Action Items
It’s now time to have an open discussion and create some action items.
