To Whom It May Concern,
It gives me great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Jad Abdo. I have known Mr.
Abdo for the last three year. He was enrolled in my Fluid Mechanics and HVAC classes.
During time in the classes, Mr. Abdo asked very insightful questions and always participated in classroom
discussion. He received very good grade in the classes and was ranked among top 10%. In these courses
I observed he had excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Mr. Abdo wrote an HVAC project term paper. In his paper he provided a good overall assessment of a
building’s psychrometric performance. He also discussed in details the impact of thermal insulation of
building thermal envelope. During our interaction on his term paper I found that he demonstrated the
ability to tackle difficult problems independently and is creative.
On a personal side, Mr. Abdo was well liked by the faculty, office staff, and technical staff at Lebanese
American University. He has an excellent working relationship with all groups. He is very prompt,
meets deadlines, very mature, and is professional.
Mr. Abdo is personable and is very comfortable with his peers as well as his colleagues. Based on my
interactions with Mr. Abdo as a B.E. student, I feel very confident that he will be a very successful and
productive graduate student. By granting Mr. Abdo your admission you will receive an excellent
professional that will contribute to the reputation of your department. Please be sure to contact me if you
have any additional questions.
Sincerely,
