Room to have a Great Start
Hailing from Sri Lanka, let's all welcome Chef Jacob as the new Sous Chef who will be joining our Culinary
brigade this octobe r 25th 2014.
He started his career in Sri Lanka working as a Kitchen Assistant at the Global Hotel and moving on to
Marriot Courtyard as a Commis. He worked in different hotel brands in Sri Lanka before deciding to go
out of his country and travel to K.S.A in Golden Grass lNN. After l year he went to UAE to work in Wild
Wadi Resort in Dubai.He started his Cold kitchen career in the 7 star hotel the Burj Al Arab where he got
recognized from his colleagues and his superiors. Then he went to Monarch Dubai and there he got his
DCDP and CDP position. His latest employer, St. Regis Saadiyat lsland in Abu Dhabi is where his stepping
stone as a Senior CDP for 3 years before heading here in Kandooma.
