• Development volume has almost returned to that seen in
the early 2000s, but with a decidedly moderated zeal as
home developers reflect on the events of 2008-2010.
Development activity this cycle is predicated on smart risks
and a thoughtful approach to interpreting economic
fundamentals while still meeting an influx of demand for
housing.
• Florida is the 5th fastest growing state by population in the
U.S. With 63 percent of Florida’s population sitting one
these four major metros. Since 2009, the population for
these 4 key metros has grown by 15.0 percent.
