Electromagnetic Induction
Most of the wireless charging technologies today use
electromagnetic induction technology.
We regard this technology as a separate transformer.
The widely used transformer consists of a magnetic core and
two coils (primary coil, secondary coil); when an alternating
voltage is applied across the primary coil, an alternating
magnetic field is generated in the core, and thus the secondary
Inducting an AC voltage of the same frequency on the coil, and
getting the direct current we need through the DC circuit, this
is the charger and adapter we are familiar with in our life.
Receiver Coil Transmitter Coil
If the transmitter coil and the receiver coil are placed in two separate devices, a magnetic field is
generated when the power is input to the transmitter coil. When the magnetic field senses the coil at the
receiver, the current is generated, so we build the A set of radio energy transmission systems. The
current transmission efficiency reaches 80-83% and supports 10W charging of mobile phones.
2. Magnetic resonance
Compared with the electromagnetic induction method, magnetic resonance technology
has a certain degree of latitude in distance. It can support wireless charging of several
centimeters to several meters and is more flexible in use. Magnetic resonance also uses
two coils that are perfectly matched to each other. When one coil is energized, a magnetic
field is generated. The other coil thus resonates and the generated current can light the
lamp or charge the device. In addition to the distance, the magnetic resonance method
can also charge multiple devices at the same time. The flexibility of use ranks first among
all technologies.
3.Microwave Resonance
This technology uses microwaves as the energy transfer signal. After the receiver
receives the energy wave, it will be restored to the available direct current through the
resonant circuit and the rectifier circuit. This method is equivalent to our common Wi-Fi
wireless network. Both sending and receiving parties have their own dedicated antenna.
The difference is that this time it is not the signal but the electric energy that is
transmitted. The frequency of microwaves is between 300MHz and 300GHz, and the
wavelength is in the millimeter-decimeter-meter class. Microwaves have a very powerful
ability to transmit energy. Microwave ovens in our homes use its thermal effect, and
microwave wireless charging technology Is to convert microwave energy back to
electrical signals.
