The group’s role… •Our student experience experts group provides advice and feedback on Jisc work in this area •You offer valuable input on the direction of future Jisc activities •You help ensure the relevance of Jisc activities to the FE and HE learning and teaching community and have enabled our work to develop a strong community profile •You provide a valuable steer in terms of how Jisc outputs and outcomes should be communicated and disseminated •You are our champions for our student experience work

How the group has informed Jisc From 2004 the group has contributed to the development of: •Funded programmes – e-Learning, Learners’ experience of e-Learning, Design for Learning, OER, SFC Transformation programme, Curriculum design and delivery, Assessment and feedback, Digital literacies, Lifelong Learning and many more… •Studies – LiDA, Digital student (HE, FE, ACL, Offender learning, Online), OER, Electronic management of assessment, SLiDA, Digital capability frameworks and role profiles, Principles for good assessment and feedback….

How the group has informed Jisc – part 2 From 2004 the group has contributed to the development of: •Publications – Over 40 publications including our series of Effective practice guides, Effective Practice in a Digital Age, Designing Spaces for Effective Learning, In Their Own Words, learner experience…. •Conferences – our successful online conferences, CAN conferences, Jisc on Air Radio Shows •Services – Digital experience insights and Building digital capability •…..

Aims for today Contribute to new Jisc work on developing a framework for digital transformation for higher education Hear about Jisc’s latest research into learning and curriculum design in higher education and help to shape Jisc’s future work in this area Hear about a new Jisc initiative – pathfinder programme Share examples of effective institutional practice and research in digital learning, teaching, and assessment and enable discussion across the expert's group
