1. In this horror poster we can see a prevailing and dominant colour of red, this suggests
and has implications of evil and death and there is also a lot of black on the outside of
the poster, this suggests that anything could be lurking in the darkness and we cant
see it and also this means that the girl cant move anywhere because she cant see
around her.The narrow corridor suggests that they are trapped and the shadow of the
spirit is blocking the exit and there is no way to escape, the corridor is illuminated by
the red escape light at the end also there is a ghost holding a noose which suggests it
is going to use it as a weapon to kill the intruders( the girl ).The girl is also very
vulnerable and appears to be wearing a small amount of clothing and this shot makes
the girl look very small and weak.

2. In this poster of sinister we can see a large
use of the colour red this resembles evil,
blood and death as we can see in the title
where it looks like someone or something
has written on the wall in someone’s blood
and it appears that as the blood has
dripped down the wall onto the people
which could be a family or a group of
friends it looks like they are being hung by
the streams dripping down the wall.This is
all based on a background of a wallpaper
which could suggest that this is all inside
someone's house, there is also a drawing
of what could be the evil character. At the
very top of this poster there is a small
piece of writing why says ‘from the
producers of Paranormal activity and
Insidious which is used to attempt to try
and bring in even more viewers by putting
big names on it.

3. In this poster we can see a small
amount of red except for in the title.
Usually proms are very organised and
pretty however in this photo we can
see a girl screaming with her hair all
over the place which means
something very bad has happened
and the night will literally be one to
die for.The main focus of this poster
is on the woman's mouth with
expresses her fear and emotions.This
poster is extremely faded down to a
pale blue this has connotations that
the night is going to be very bitter
and cold, this could also have
connotations that this woman will be
the victim due to how faded and pale
she is
