3. INTRODUCTION
• The Asian Law Students' Association (ALSA) is
a non-political association. A rising student
organization, it currently comprises 11 member
countries and 3 observer countries consisting of
Brunei, China, Hong
Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the
Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, India,
Laos and Vietnam.

4. • The National Chapter ALSA Malaysia was officially
founded in 2011 with the aims of promoting academic
and cross-cultural exchanges between Asian law
students.
• Today, it comprises of more than 600 members from the
