Foreword
Lacking the time to write a full-fledged walkthrough, I decided to write a guide focusing on the stuff that might be
difficult to find out. Though you won't find here hints on how to complete any of the levels, or explanations about
the game system, I'll provide a check list to help you get every possible character and cut scene for any of the
routes, as well as guidelines on how to complete the in-game music test track list, and how to obtain all possible
titles, for instance. In short, this guide should serve as a quick reference to get everything that is possible to
achieve in this game and that is not straightforward.
Characters and cut scenes
In this section I will do a rundown on the battles and events for every chapter, telling about anything that should be
done in order to trigger a hidden event or recruit a special character. I've also written down the conditions for
dialogues to take place in each battle, so you know which units to deploy in order to check all in-battle text.
However, for the sake of brevity Ive omitted dialogues which are triggered regardless of any conditions. For
example, I won't mention dialogues which enemy leaders have on their first active turn (since it's highly unlikely
they will be killed before acting), or dialogues involving Denim (since he must always be deployed).
Chapter 1
Battle 1 (Goliath): -
Battle 2 (Armorika Outside): -
Battle 3 (Armorika Inside): -
Battle 4 (Krizar): save Presance to recruit him. Enemy leader says something when she's under 50% HP.
Battle 5 (Gruborza): keep Leonard alive and Vyce will have something to say when the enemy leader is
under 30% HP.
Battle 6 (Rime): save Sisteena to recruit her later on.
Go to Kadoriga to face Nybbas.
Battle 7 (Kadoriga): Presance will have something to say when Nybbas is under 80% HP.
Battle 8 (Bordo): Ravines has something to say when enemy leader is under 90% HP.
Battle 9 (Zodo): -
Battle 10 (Baramus 1): -
Agree (option 1) with Leonard to go to the Law Route, or disagree (option 2) to go to the Chaos Route.
Battle 11 (Baramus Law): keep Ravines alive to recruit her later on. Ravines says something when hers
or Presance's HP
is under 80%, and then again when she's under 50% HP.
Battle 12 (Baramus Chaos): -
From here you can proceed to Chapter 2C or Chapter 2L.
Chapter 2C
Battle 1 (Ashton): deploy Presance and Canopus to see their conversation with Arycell. If Kachua is kept
alive, her
conversation with Denim also changes. Canopus only speaks after Arycell is under 50% HP.
Battle 2 (Ri-Bum): deploy Canopus for a conversation with Zapan.
Battle 3 (Zodo): save Arycell to recruit her. Deploy Presance and Canopus to see their conversation with
her (only if
they already talked with her in the previous encounter). Arycell says something when her HP is under 50%.
Battle 4 (Bordo): -
Battle 5 (Tanmas): Arycell has an extra line to say when her HP is under 50%.
Read the news about the Phorampa Wildwood in Warren's Report to get access to the first side quest
dungeon.

Battle 6 (Krizar): -
Battle 7 (Kadoriga): keep Forcas alive to recruit him. Save Byan to recruit him as well as Sisteena on the
next battle.
Agree to help Sisteena, and go to Damsa.
Battle 8 (Damsa): keep Forcas and Byan alive to recruit them.
Battle 9 (Goliath): -
Go to Bordo for a cut scene, and then you get to ask Sisteena to go with you (finally recruiting her, Forcas
and Byan for
good).
Battle 10 (Rime): -
Battle 11 (Armorika Outside): deploy Presance and Arycell to see their lines. Enemy leader has
something to say when
Zapan's HP is under 20%.
Agree (option 1) with Leonard to go to the Neutral Route, or disagree (option 2) to go to the Chaos Route.
From here you can proceed to Chapter 3C or Chapter 3N.
Chapter 2L
Battle 1 (Baramus): -
Battle 2 (Zodo): -
Battle 3 (Ri-Bum): -
Read the news about Ravines on Warren's Report to open a side story battle in Reizen.
Battle 4 (Reizen): save Ravines to recruit her later on. Deploy Presance to see his conversation with
Ravines. Ravines
also says something when her HP is under 50%.
Battle 5 (Ashton): -
Battle 6 (Ashton): deploy Presance to see his conversation with Arycell.
Battle 7 (Kadoriga): save Zapan to recruit him right after the battle. Deploy Canopus to see his
conversation. You can
also recruit Zapan later in Chapter 4 (only if you followed the Law route), but there's no reason not to recruit him
right now.
Battle 8 (Tanmas): deploy Zapan to see his conversation. If you defeat the enemy cleric before Guacharo
escapes, you'll
have to defeat Guacharo as well. If you defeat him now, you'll do battle 9, instead of battle 8, in Chapter 3L. It's
better to defeat him now, as this grants you an Order Title.
Read the news about the Phorampa Wildwood in Warren's Report to get access to the first side quest
dungeon.
Battle 9 (Gruborza): Kachua's question does not change anything besides the enemy's reply, and her
dialogue with Vyce
in the next battle.
Battle 10 (Rime): keep Arycell alive to recruit her later on. It's alright (and necessary) to defeat Vyce.
Deploy
Canopus and Presance to see their conversation.
Battle 13 (Armorika Inside): Vyce says something if Arycell is defeated, and vice-versa.
From here you can only proceed to Chapter 3L.

Chapter 3C
Battle 1 (Ashton): -

A cut scene with Kachua will automatically take place. The answer you give here does not affect the story.
Battle 5 (Reizen): -
Battle 6 (Vahanna): -
You get to choose whether to enter Brigantes from West or South.
Battle 7 (Brigantes West): deploy Canopus for a dialogue with the enemy leader.
Battle 8 (Brigantes South): deploy Canopus for a dialogue with the enemy leader.
Battle 9 (Brigantes Inside): -
Battle 10 (Vahanna): save Haborym to recruit him.
Leonard will challenge for a duel. Accept (option 1) to go to battle 12, or decline (option 2) to go to battle
13.
Battle 13 (Coritani Inside): deploy Presance and Arycell for a dialogue with Leonard.
Battle 14 (Wyoburi): Ganb has something to say for each of his beasts that die, if his own HP is above
20%. It's better
not to kill them though, as that may actually make the battle harder.
Battle 15 (Rime): -
Go back to Armorika to recruit Guildus and Mildain.
Battle 16 (Bordo): Selye joins automatically after this battle.
You get to choose whether to enter Fiduc from West or South.
Battle 17 (Fiduc West): -
Battle 18 (Fiduc South): -
Battle 19 (Fiduc Inside): deploy Selye for a different dialogue.
From here you can only proceed to Chapter 4.
Chapter 3N
Battle 1 (Armorika): -
Battle 2 (Bordo): save Selye to recruit her later on. deploy Sisteena, Byan and Forcas for a dialogue with
Selye.
Deploy Canopus for a dialogue when Oz's HP is 50%.
Battle 3 (Tanmas): Ganb has something to say for each of his beasts that die, if his own HP is above 20%.
It's better
Go to Krizar and reunite with Leonard, and then go to Kadoriga for an extra battle.
Battle 4 (Kadoriga): save Festa, Kamuzu and Tamus to recruit them afterwards.
Youll be given the option to recruit Haborym (option 1 for the second question) after the battle above.
Battle 5 (Ashton): save Orias and Debordes to recruit them.
Battle 6 (Hedon): -
Battle 7 (Banhamuba): -
Battle 8 (Damsa): deploy Mildain and Canopus for a dialogue with Guildus. Deploy Orias and Debordes for
a dialogue with
Nybbas.
Battle 9 (Goliath): this battle only happens if you didn't go to Battle 4 (Kadoriga). In that case, you'll be
given the
option to recruit Haborym after this battle.

Chapter 3L
Battle 1 (Madra): -
You get to choose whether to enter Brigantes from West or South.
Battle 2 (Brigantes West): deploy Zapan and Canopus for a dialogue.
Battle 3 (Brigantes South): deploy Canopus for a dialogue.
Battle 4 (Brigantes Inside): -
You'll be given the chance to recruit Jenounes during the cut scene (choose option 2).
Battle 5 (Vahanna): deploy Jenounes to gain access to battle 10 later on. You have to watch the four
dialogues: at the
start of the battle, when the enemy leader is under 70% HP, and then what Jenounes has to say on his two
following active turns.
Battle 6 (Reizen): -
If you let Guacharo escape in chapter 2, you'll go to battle 8. Otherwise, you'll go to battle 9.
Battle 8 (Coritani Inside): deploy Jenounes for a dialogue.
Battle 9 (Coritani Inside): deploy Jenounes for a dialogue.
If you've triggered all of the dialogues in battle 5, there will be some news about Coritani in Warren's
Report. Read it to
trigger battle 10 in Vahanna.
Battle 10 (Vahanna): save Ravines to recruit her. Deploy Jenounes and Canopus for a dialogue.
You'll be able to choose doing either battle 11 or battle 12.
Battle 11 (Bordo): -
Battle 12 (Swanzi): -
Battle 13 (Tanmas): Ganb has something to say for each of his beasts that die, if his own HP is above
20%. It's better
Battle 15 (Armorika Inside): deploy Jenounes and Ravines for a dialogue.
Guildus, Mildain, Vyce and Arycell join your army automatically.
Battle 16 (Wyoburi): -
Battle 17 (Rime): save Haborym to recruit him.
Battle 20 (Fiduc Inside): deploy Haborym for several dialogues. There are many dialogues on this battle,
which trigger
according to each of the enemy leaders' remaining energy, so you might want to take their HP slowly.
Chapter 4
In Chapter 4, there are various side quests which can be undertaken. The normal battles are numbered from 1 to
20, and the side quest battles are numbered starting from 21. I've labeled the actions that must be taken to
proceed with the quests in the following way:

$A for Azerstan's side quest;
$C for Crescida's side quest (only available on Chaos route);
$D for Deneb's side quest;
$G for Ganb's side quest;
$O for Ozma's side quest (only available on Law route, and only if you recruited Haborym);
$R for Rendal's side quest;
$S1 for Shelley's side quest;
$S2 for Selye's side quest (only available on Neutral route);
$X for Oxyones' side quest;
$1 for the shrines' side quest.
$O Read the news about the Dark Knights in Warren's Report to recruit Ozma later on (available until
before battle 4).
$A Read the news about Omish in Warren's Report to trigger a battle in Omish (can be cleared anytime
before battle 4).
$D Read the news about Deneb's Shop in Warren's Report to be able to recruit her later on.
Battle 1 (Vahanna): -
You get to choose between entering Brigantes from West or South. If you choose South and send Denim
alone and unequipped,
there'll be no battle.
Battle 2 (Brigantes West): -
Battle 3 (Brigantes South): -
$C Read the news about Baramus to trigger a battle there. Go to Baramus and make sure Orias is in your
army. Afterwards
win a battle in Kadoriga, and finally one in Goliath. In Goliath, tell Crescida you have no intention of judging her
alone, and she'll join you if you have a good reputation among Gargastans.
Go to Armorika to trigger an event with Warren.
Battle 4 (Hedon): -
Battle 5 (Banhamuba): drop Shelly's HP to under 10%, forcing her to retreat. If you kill her, you won't be
able to
recruit her later. Deploy Sisteena, Selye and Olivia, if you have them, to see a dialogue between the sisters.
The answer you give Moruba won't change the story, but if you say you "have no choice", Kachua won't
fight you on the battle
against Lans Tartare (that is, you'll go to battle 12 instead of battle 11).
$O Make sure Haborym's loyalty is 50 or above and go to Krizar to trigger a battle. Deploy Haborym and
make sure him
and Ozma are alive at the end in order to recruit Ozma. At the beginning of the battle, make Haborym answer his
name (second choice). After the battle, tell Ozma she is guilty as well for the death of your father (first choice).
Go to Fiduc Castle to follow with the story and gain access to the following events.
$S1 Make sure Olivia's loyalty is above 60 and do a random battle in Zodo, using an item to cause a storm.
Keep the weather as bad as you can, and finish the
battle (retreating is fine, but then you won't be able to get some of the Order Titles). While the weather is still bad,
go to Baramus to trigger an event with Shelley in order to recruit her. This can only be done before you clear
Banisha Castle. Be aware that sometimes this event may not trigger (perhaps due to the add chance that the
weather changes back to normal when you get to Baramus? I'm still not sure); if that happens, keep battling in
Zodo and causing storms, and eventually you'll find Shelley.
$S2 Go to Krizar to trigger the news about a pirate in Kadoriga. Read the news in Warren's Report and go
to Kadoriga to
trigger a battle. When the battle starts, ask Selye if she wants to join you in order to recruit her.
$A Read the news about the Pirate Cemetery and the Legendary Pirate in Warren's Report, then go to
Omish and Kadoriga

to trigger two events.
$X Read the news about the explosion in the Warren's Report to be able to explore the northern lands. Win
the battle in
Madra, Brumor, Bask and Botegen consecutively, to gain access to the Hell Gate. The Hell Gate can be accessed
at any time from now on. After winning the battle in Bask, go to Razan to recruit Oxyones. Deploy Jenounes and
watch all dialogues in order to recruit her after the battle.
$D After clearing Bask on the Oxyone's side quest, find Deneb's shop (see Deneb's Shop), auction one
dragon of each elemental and buy five orbs of each type to get her to talk to you. Answer "What are you
saying?", and she'll you join you as a guest. Go to Bask to trigger a battle and, if she ends the battle alive,
she'll join you.
Battle 6 (Vanessa): -
Battle 7 (Lanbees): -
Battle 8 (Zoryush): deploy Canopus and Ozma for a dialogue with Andoras.
Battle 9 (Banisha Front): -
Battle 10 (Banisha Courtyard): deploy Guildus, Mildain, Canopus and Ozma for dialogues with Barbas.
If you told Moruba you had no choice in Banhamuba before, you'll go to battle 12; otherwise, you'll have to
face Kachua in
battle 11.
Battle 11 (Banisha Inside): keep Kachua alive in order to recruit her later. Deploy Haborym and Ozma for
a dialogue
with Lans.
After the battle, depending on your answers Kachua can join you or not. To recruit her, first tell her "it's
true", and
then tell her you "love her".
Battle 12 (Banisha Inside): deploy Haborym and Ozma for a dialogue with Lans.
After the battle, depending on your answers Kachua can join you or not. To recruit her, first tell her "it was
not so", and
then tell her you "don't want to part".
$R Read the news about a shipwreck in Warren's Report to trigger a battle in Ruffa and another in Grimby.
In Grimby,
save Rendal in order to recruit him.
$G Read the news about the Nimuraba thief in Warren's Report to trigger a battle in Nimuraba. In
Nimuraba, keep Ganb's
pets alive and drop his HP to below 10% (without killing him) in order to recruit the Beast Tamer.
$A Go to Omish for an extra battle (can be cleared anytime before battle 15). After the battle in Omish, find
Azerstan
in the Pirate Cemetery and then clear the cemetery in order to recruit him.
$1 Read the news about the old shrines in Warren's Report to trigger battles in Kadoriga, Bordo, Damsa
and Gerudo. Go
to each of the forts and clear them.
$1 After the battle with Oxyones in Razan, regardless of whether you recruited her or not, read the news
about Razan in
Warren's Report to trigger a new battle there. Clear the fort.
$1 After the battle with Rendal, regardless of whether you recruited him or not, read the news about the
attacks on the

forts in Warren's Report to trigger a battle in Gekko. Clear the fort.
1$ With at least one of the Foriner sisters in your army, go to Coritani and say you have confidence. This
will finally
trigger the shrines' side quest. Go back to each of the six forts in order to enter and clear their respective shrines.
You get to choose between Boulder and Yomlahaba
Battle 13 (Boulder): -
Battle 14 (Yomlahaba): -
Battle 15 (William): -
After recruiting Rendal and getting Kachua back to your party, if you let Kachua die in a battle, clear battle
15 at
William and then go back to Fiduc, a cut scene with Rendal will take place and a new battle will be triggered in
William. Since letting Kachua die will keep you from getting the "Flawless Hero" Order Title, you might want to
save this event for after you activate the WORLD system.
You get to choose to attack Heigm from the front, south or back.
Battle 16 (Heigm Front): deploy Kachua, Shelley and Ozma for a dialogue.
Battle 17 (Heigm South): -
Battle 18 (Heigm Back): deploy Kachua, Shelley and Ozma for a dialogue.
Battle 19 (Heigm Courtyard): -
Battle 20 (Heigm Inside): deploy Kachua and Shelley for a dialogue.
If Ozma is not in your party, in Warren's Report there'll be some news about a spy. Read it to trigger an
event with Haborym in Krizar if his loyalty is above 50. If you took the law route, you probably have Ozma,
so this cut scene will have been played already as part of her recruiting event.

This is a listing of the town Deneb is at different days. The month of the year doesn't matter, as she goes back to
the same towns each month.

Ancient Book of Melee Weapons: may be dropped by a Warrior in Phorampa Wildwood (Deep Section).

have to defeat one General in order to look for the next. The other material, Orihalcon, can be stolen from Ethereal
Beauties in San Bronsa.
