Raptivity is recognized as the world’s leading Interactivity building tool with over 190 customizable templates that assist in creating outstanding eLearning. This is just the beginning, however - there is much more to Raptivity than just templates. If you’ve used Raptivity extensively, you must have found simple tricks and features to optimize the interactivity creation process, or discovered some really novel ways to use the tool. But even if you haven’t done that, don’t worry, here is your chance to explore some really interesting tips and tricks that will inspire and engage.
Since we arent going to demo the tool as such, lets present the ppt in a demo form. We can start with Jamaica/Janhavi opening the tool and going to interaction search. In that, we can cover the interaction search through learning objective and through ID theories point. Then we move to Game Based Learning with Raptivity and show some key game templates/samples. We can then proceed with Ice Breakers and demo some of the relevant templates there. Towards the end, we can select one template (preferably a game) and create and publish an interaction through it and demo import/export functionality meanwhile. In the end, we can share that game link over the GTM session and ask users to play it, displaying the live training point simultaneously.
Users not necessarily need to search using interaction name/keyword, Learning objectives can help them look through the relevant set of interactions. Gain Attention is one example that I have displayed above.
Can we have 2 samples of Million Dollar quiz, the textual content can stay the same as default template. But one really flashy gameshow type and the other more subdued and with a corporate feel. Points instead of Dollars, add a logo, corporate background, buttons, fonts etc.
Can you send us .swf files for Answer or Deal and Sequencing Strategy also.
Can you send use cases of when people would use JavaScript for tracking and also benefits of using.
For the live training slide, are there images or logos for each tool? It looks like there is an image placeholder that’s just showing as a grey circle.
We should have a slide that shows the special pricing offers that will go after the announcement slide.
[J] beyond just naming some templates, we will also need usage ideas and examples to use as talking points - for instance showing a flying car prototype video before a technology/innovation class would be an example for videos, that will stir up some conversation naturally. We are working this as well, but the more ideas the better (we don’t need any samples created, just ideas)
[I] Let us think about them and will email you some stuff by tomorrow.
We can add samples for each category here
[J] we will need examples or scenarios of when each of these would be appropriate to use and how. Also recommend interactions for each of the 4.
[I] Games and Quizzes can be used to have pre-tests and knowledge check in an interesting way, before the classroom/online sessions. This can help the learners and the trainer know the learner’ knowledge level before the course. Recommended IMs - Spin the wheel game sample can be shown and Drag Drop Sort Quiz can be shown.
Exercises: mental warm up for brain, stretch, get in the mind-set for learning, set the stage.
classification, labelling, scenarios
Trivias can be used to present some interesting information about the topic that is going to be covered in the module. It is an excellent way to catch the learner attention. And the information need not be something that is going to be taught through the session. Recommended IM – Pre-Class Trivia, Spotlight
Videos are the most powerful medium to grab attention before the session. They can be used to present some statistics/facts about the topic that’s going to be presented. Recommended IM – My Video Player
[J] What does the Raptivity interaction look like to meeting attendees in Connect? Does it appear in a pod upon joining the meeting? Is it launched by the organizer at a certain point?
[I] Yes, it appears in a pod. Check this link for example:
https://meet40268456.adobeconnect.com/twoezq7.w8vor2/
You can also check it through Sandesh’s credentials shared at the end of this slide’s speaker notes.
[I] We will play a game interaction over the live GTM session. Let me know what interaction would you prefer for this and I can have Snehal create it next week.
For Adobe Connect, I will share the step by step screenshots
[J] Let’s go with Million Dollar Quiz to play during the live session
[I] We will be using the default game sample for million dollar for the webinar since Snehal is time crunched to create another one. The link for that is here: www.raptivity.com/play_a_game.swf . I have also inserted it in the next slide.
[J] in Connect do Raptivity interactions appear in a pod? Or does a link have to be shared as in GTM?
[I] Yes, we have tested it too. Also attaching the complete document in the mail with step by step screenshots.
