This document provides information about an online webinar for the Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (PGDip). The webinar will include a 30 minute presentation by presenters Jack Roberts and Dave Charlton, followed by a question and answer session. Attendees are instructed on how to operate the chat function to communicate with presenters and other participants. Troubleshooting tips are also provided for anyone having issues with audio. The PGDip is then described as a strategic-level qualification focusing on organizational marketing. It consists of four subjects that must be passed, with an optional additional project. Assessment methods, the recommended sequence, learning levels, entry requirements, and estimated study hours are outlined.

1. Welcome to the PGDip Information
Webinar
The webinar will start as soon as everyone
has logged in.
Please ensure your internal speakers are
switched on, or connect external speakers or
headphones.
You can communicate with the presenters
and other webinar participants by using the
chat facility on the right.

2. Can’t Hear?
We’ll put a message on the chat board when we start to speak and you
may be able to hear the ambient music in the background.
Check the following;
– You have suitable quality speakers plugged in and turned up sufficiently.
– The ‘mute’ on your computer isn’t switched on.
– Look at the drop-down menu next to the speaker icon at the top of the
screen – have you muted your speakers?
– If you have a dialogue box on the screen, select the ‘Allow’ option.
None of these apply?
– Unfortunately that means that there is something wrong with your audio
facilities or your broadband connection, but the webinar will be recorded
and hopefully you will be able to hear that.

• There are two stages;

and mentoring project aimed at leadership development.
• Although Leading Marketing is called Stage 2, it is not a
compulsory part of the PGDip.
• It is independent of the Stage 1 Professional
